Regina Breslin
Director, Content Acquisition and Business Development

Regina Breslin is the Director of Content Distribution at Roku. Breslin leads the Domestic distribution and business development team that negotiates Roku’s third-party content distribution deals, sources content and advertising inventory for Roku’s first-party video and audio initiatives, maintains relationship with Roku’s content partners and helps them  grow and scale their Roku applications. 
Prior to joining Roku, Breslin was Vice President of Content Distribution at Univision Communications.  Prior to joining Univision, Breslin spent 16 years with the Walt Disney Company.

Colin Dixon

Nicole Fencel

As Senior Manager, Programming Product Strategy at Roku, Nicole Fencel is responsible for developing and executing strategies to scale The Roku Channel’s Premium Subscriptions business. She is the business lead for all negotiations with new Premium Subscription partners and is also responsible for evaluating new business transactional models for The Roku Channel. Nicole oversees a team responsible for implementing major product releases, such a subscription bundling and promotional pricing, and evaluating additional business opportunities internationally, as well as off platform, for Premium Subscriptions.

Jerry Fan

Jerry Fan is the Head of Growth, Retention, and Monetization at Crunchyroll, the global anime brand with 90M registered users and 3M subscribers. In this role, Jerry drives user/revenue growth via web and mobile funnel optimizations, alongside new business initiatives like the new subscription tiers. He also supports Crunchyroll International, eCommerce, News and Manga through iterative optimization. Jerry has broad experience ranging from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Motorola Mobility (a Google company) and PwC (management consulting.

In 2019, he established Piracy Monitor to highlight the risks of digital piracy, which has far-reaching effects on video providers, rights-holders, consumers, and creative professionals.  As an industry analyst, he focuses on the software technologies that "make TV work," and is a contributing analyst to Parks Associates and S&P Global Market Intelligence (Kagan).  He also provides subject-matter expertise for intellectual property matters.

Courtney Menzel

Courtney is responsible for determining the EPIX distribution strategy on MVPD, OTT and SVOD platforms, leading negotiations with distribution partners, and spearheading the EPIX sales and partner marketing functions. Prior, Courtney was the SVP, Distribution and Partner Marketing at Discovery Communications where she helped direct affiliate strategy, negotiated major contract renewals across top distributors and developed strategic marketing partnerships with key partners. Previously at Viacom, she led distribution and marketing strategy for EPIX at the time of the network’s launch.

Mark is a growth and transformation executive with extensive knowledge of technology and media. He carries 20 years of industry experience, including 10 years at WideOrbit, where he served as chief operating officer -- overseeing operations for product verticals, externally-facing initiatives, special projects, and strategies. Prior to WideOrbit, Mark spent seven years as a technical operations manager in Google’s Broadcast division, specializing in the real-time ad insertion. Before that, Mark spent several years in operations, programming, and on-air talent roles.

Gary Schanman

Gary Schanman is the Founder of GB Monday, a Denver-based Media, Telecom & Tech strategy and Product Development firm.  Gary has built and managed innovative ad and subscription-based video, broadband services and products for numerous firms and was most recently the SVP, Video and Ads for Charter Communications. Previously, he held multiple sr. roles managing Video Broadband, Phone and Advertising at Cablevision and Comcast.
Mr. Schanman recently served on the board of InDemand and as CTAM Advanced TV Council Chair. Gary holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS from Syracuse University – and currently sits on the SU Newhouse School Advisory Board.

Jeremy Strauss

Jeremy Strauss is the global head of business development at Tastemade, where he has driven the launch and growth of the streaming television and OTT network. He has also led Tastemade’s focus on licensing its award-winning library of original content to providers and services globally.
Prior to Tastemade, Jeremy was a business development consultant at Oculus and the VP of global digital distribution for HBO.
He holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA from Duke University.

Laura Wu

Laura Wu is a business strategy and operations leader with more than a decade of experience directing critical initiatives for high-growth organizations in media.   
Currently, Laura serves as the Head of Strategy and Operations at Beachfront, where she leads the strategic planning and execution of key innovation initiatives, while overseeing the company’s marketing, revenue, and human resource operations. 
Prior to Beachfront, Laura spent close to five years with Verizon Media, with two years at Yahoo and one at Brightroll.
