12:10PM-1:10PM ET:
TRAINING SESSION: DEVELOPING SECURE IOT DEVICES WITH AWS IOT AND THE STM32L4+ DISCOVERY KIT IOT NODE

Development of modern IoT devices is impossible without 2 features that fundamentally differentiate them from their non-connected siblings:

1. Strong Root of Trust
2. Ability to reliably update their firmware Over-the-Air (or Over-the-Wire)

STMicroelectronics collaborated with AWS for several years to create several reference designs for connected devices. Those designs leverage the power of secure hyperscale AWS IoT message broker, STM32 MCUs, and STSAFE secure elements).

In this presentation and hands-on demo, we will show how you can easily start developing your first IoT connected device using the flagship STM32L4+ Discovery kit IoT node (B-L4S5I-IOT01A), STM32 Cube IDE and AWS CLI. The presentation will be accompanied with a code repository so you can replicate all the steps of the demonstration.

Up to 100 STM32L4+ Discovery kit IoT node boards will be made available* after the session to attendees. By providing this board along with additional training and code resources, attendees can start developing their own IoT connected devices using the STM32L4+ Discovery kit IoT node, STM32 Cube IDE and AWS CLI.

*A limited number of boards are available, and fulfillment is on a first ordered, first shipped basis. Boards must be shipped to a U.S. address. The coupon code is limited to one use per person.

2:00PM-3:00PM ET:
THE IOT AND DATA ANALYTICS: A DYNAMIC DUO TURNING INFORMATION INTO ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS

IoT's strength lies in its ability to deliver a powerful stream of data, which of course on the flip side has the potential to result in serious information overload. But companies are discovering they can turn that information into actionable insights by analyzing the raw data to discover trends and support decision-making. This session will explore the advances in IoT technologies and platforms and the ways some companies are harnessing the power of two with the help of AI and Machine Learning to achieve real results in innovative, real-world applications.
