ABOUT CBRS WEEK FALL

With this summer’s auction in the rear view mirror, all eyes are on the 3.5 GHz band as the CBRS ecosystem continues to accelerate. The band offers both licensed and unlicensed options via a spectrum-sharing architecture, and is paving the way for new and unique business models for both CSPs and new market entrants. Not surprisingly, questions remain: What CBRS business cases make sense for the in building market, including campuses, CRE, and retail? How will mobile operators, MSOs, and WISPs be able to take advantage of the spectrum for next gen deployments? And how are industrial, transportation, and energy organizations going to be able to take advantage of CBRS for private wireless networks?

11:00AM-12:15PM ET:
THE ROAD TO PRIVATE WIRELESS NETWORKS: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

New CBRS mid-band spectrum is being made available, and many stakeholders are eyeing it for private wireless usage. Is there an optimal architecture for private networks? How long will it take for an organization to set up a private wireless network, and what elements need to be deployed? Will enterprises need to use priority access licenses (PALs), or are general authorized access (GAA) licenses sufficient? How does a Spectrum Access System (SAS) work to make sure there isn’t interference in the CBRS spectrum? What devices will be needed for private wireless networks?
