Paul Challoner, Vice President, Network Product Solutions for Ericsson North America, based in Plano, Texas is responsible for radio products including 4G, 5G, IoT & Open RAN. Prior to his current role, Challoner worked as Head of Product Line Wi-Fi and Head of Ericsson’s CDMA Product Line.
Challoner currently serves as Vice Chair, Board of Directors of the CBRS Alliance, Large Company representative, for the Board of the Wireless Innovation Forum and on the Board of Governors for 5G Americas. He joined Ericsson in 2010 from Nortel where he held executive roles leading the GSM product line, Intelligent Networks and Broadband Wireless businesses. He has global experience working in the US, Canada, France, India and the UK. With 25 years in the telecom industry he possesses extensive industry experience and has innovated bringing numerous radio products to market specializing in the field of wireless communication.
Challoner holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Brunel University, London, UK.
As CEO of Polte, Chao is leading the charge to position Polte as the premier provider of global, 4G/5G cellular location technology. Chao brings 26 years of leadership experience, serving as an executive for companies such as Bell Labs, MetroPCS, T-Mobile and with the U.S. Digital Service at the White House. Chao holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Rutgers University.
Strategic Product Manager for Cloud RAN
Dr. Matteo Fiorani is a Strategic Product Manager for Cloud RAN at Ericsson. In his role, Matteo focuses on Cloud RAN technologies and he is responsible for steering Ericsson product strategy in O-RAN. Before working on Cloud RAN, Matteo was a Strategic Product Manager for 5G focusing on bringing 5G software features into Ericsson products. Matteo has also been Chair of O-RAN WG5 at the O-RAN Alliance and worked for two years as a standardization delegate in 3GPP RAN3. Matteo holds a PhD in Information and Communications Technology from the University of Modena in Italy, and a Postdoc from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden. Matteo was also a visiting researcher at Columbia University and University of California Davis in the USA.

Sachin Katti is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University and Telco Strategy Advisor at VMware. He is the Co-Chair of the Technical Steering Committee for O-RAN Alliance and the Director of the xRAN Foundation. The Co-Founder and ex-CEO of Uhana (now part of VMware), Sachin received his PhD in EECS from MIT in 2009. His research, which has won numerous awards, focuses on designing and building next generation high-capacity wireless networks.
Russell Lundberg has 30+ years of experience working in mobile technology for MNOs around the world, specializing in greenfield build-outs, quality of service, cost-effective operations, 5G, and OpenRAN.
Presently Russell is Principal at Intelefy LLC, consulting with Mobile Network Operators and others interested in wireless technologies. Diane Rinaldo is one of the country’s leading authorities on 5G, telecommunications supply chain security, privacy, and Internet governance. She served as Acting Administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and Acting Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Communications and Information. During her time at NTIA, Ms. Rinaldo directed the Administration’s efforts on privacy; testified in the House of Representatives and Senate on 5G and Internet security issues; served as a principal advising the White House and Congress on 5G and supply chain; as well as other successes in education and deployment of Internet access around the world.
Sundara Venkatesh “Venky”
Venky spent 20+ years in the wireless, transport & wireline industry working with multiple global operators, and network infrastructure vendors. At Anritsu, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the Anritsu portfolio within NEMS, ORAN and Private Networks. His broad knowledge base spans across different wireless, transport & wireline technologies including Cellular, Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC. He holds a Master’s from Arizona State University.

He is the former CEO and President of Trendium, where he led innovations in service assurance and analytics and creation of a new paradigm in Customer Experience Assurance. Dr. Yamany's industry experience also includes his senior executive role at Tektronix Communications where he set the vision and development of the Iris wireless and wireline monitoring and troubleshooting suite of applications.
