Josep M. Jornet is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, the director of the Ultrabroadband Nanonetworking Laboratory and a member of the Institute for the Wireless Internet of Things and the SMART Center. His research interests are in terahertz communication networks, wireless nano-bio-communication networks, and the Internet of Nano-Things. In these areas, he has co-authored more than 160 peer-reviewed publications in the last 10 years, which accumulate over 10,000 citations.

Erik joined Vodafone in September 2010 and holds the current position as Vice President IoT New Business Development. His responsibilities include building and developing the IoT domestic new business team including the Latin America region, driving IoT solutions into Vodafone Global Enterprise accounts along with additional customers and markets and defining, developing and nurturing the IoT ecosystem within the market place.
