Claude Aiken is the President & CEO of WISPA. He serves on the FCC’s Broadband Deployment Advisory Committee, the Commerce Spectrum Management Advisory Committee, and as a Senior Fellow at New York Law School. Prior to joining WISPA, he served as a trusted advisor to FCC Chairman Wheeler and Commissioner Clyburn, and held senior leadership positions in the FCC’s Wireline Bureau and Office of General Counsel. He was named a Rising Star by Fierce Wireless in 2018.
 

Run Almog

Run is the head of product strategy for DriveNets. Previously, he ran the ethernet switch product management and marketing teams at Mellanox Technologies, playing a central role in promoting disaggregation for data center networking. At Nokia Siemens Networks, Run served in the packet networks business unit. Run holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Erik Boch

Erik Boch works on a range of wireless-connectivity projects at Facebook. He has 30+ years of experience in wireless backhaul and access technology companies. After many years with Lockheed Martin, Erik moved into the wireless telecom sector in the mid 1990’s and has since held senior/VP technical positions at Newbridge Networks (now Nokia), DragonWave, Ranzure Networks (now Mavenir).  Additionally, he has served in the capacity of technical advisor to a number other wireless companies. Over the years, Erik has published/presented at over 120 articles/presentations, and is an inventor on a number of patents.  Erik holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, and is a registered Professional Engineer.

John Denemark

John is a dynamic leader with a 20-year tenure at Neustar where he leads the Carrier Provisioning business, which includes a complete suite of automated products and services addressing carriers’ off-net provisioning needs. Holding leadership positions across all areas of Neustar’s business, John has extensive experience in product management, operations, development, service delivery, customer care, and professional services. Prior to Neustar, John worked for KPMG and Transatlantic Futures. He has been an ISO 9000 lead auditor and is certified in Rummler-Brache process improvement methodology, Cost of Quality and CMMI. John holds a BS in industrial and systems engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a master’s in economics from The Johns Hopkins University.

Gilles Garcia

Gilles Garcia is the Wired and Wireless group Comms Business lead Senior Director at Xilinx having joined the Company in 2009. He has more than 35 years experience in the networking/telecom field. Prior to Xilinx, he was Director of Marketing and Communications for AppliedMicro in 2006 and Director of the Switch Fabric Business Unit in 2003. He also worked for IBM for 19 years, including four years as Strategic Marketing Manager of the IBM microelectronic division, where he was in charge of managing the switch fabric business. Gilles’s work experience includes managing global accounts, Distribution customers, customer wins, P&L, strategic direction and investment, and corporate marketing and communications.

Mark Gilmour
