Run is the head of product strategy for DriveNets. Previously, he ran the ethernet switch product management and marketing teams at Mellanox Technologies, playing a central role in promoting disaggregation for data center networking. At Nokia Siemens Networks, Run served in the packet networks business unit. Run holds a BSc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Erik Boch

Erik Boch works on a range of wireless-connectivity projects at Facebook. He has 30+ years of experience in wireless backhaul and access technology companies. After many years with Lockheed Martin, Erik moved into the wireless telecom sector in the mid 1990’s and has since held senior/VP technical positions at Newbridge Networks (now Nokia), DragonWave, Ranzure Networks (now Mavenir).  Additionally, he has served in the capacity of technical advisor to a number other wireless companies. Over the years, Erik has published/presented at over 120 articles/presentations, and is an inventor on a number of patents.  Erik holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Carleton University, and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Gilles Garcia

Gilles Garcia is the Wired and Wireless group Comms Business lead Senior Director at Xilinx having joined the Company in 2009. He has more than 35 years experience in the networking/telecom field. Prior to Xilinx, he was Director of Marketing and Communications for AppliedMicro in 2006 and Director of the Switch Fabric Business Unit in 2003. He also worked for IBM for 19 years, including four years as Strategic Marketing Manager of the IBM microelectronic division, where he was in charge of managing the switch fabric business. Gilles’s work experience includes managing global accounts, Distribution customers , customer wins, P&L, strategic direction and investment, and corporate marketing and communications.

Adam Gould

Adam Gould brings over 30 years’ experience in multiple aspects of the international telecom industry. In addition to holding over a dozen patents in a variety of telecom areas from both large corporations and startups, Mr. Gould has held leadership roles in the areas of product management, engineering and as Board Director.  Mr. Gould holds a BS in electrical engineering from MIT and an MS in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University.

Julius Kusuma is a research scientist at Facebook Connectivity, aiming to help bring more people to a faster internet. At Facebook, he works on technologies for rural connectivity and wireless networks, including wireless backhaul, mmWave and Wi-Fi. Prior to Facebook, he was a research program manager at Schlumberger Research, where he worked on subsurface and subsea connectivity technologies. Julius received his doctorate from MIT in 2006, where he was an MIT Presidential Fellow, and also attended UC Berkeley and Purdue University.

Dan Picker

He also holds over 20 wireless technology patents and has authored several publications.

Andreas Roessler is the Rohde & Schwarz Technology Manager focused on UMTS Long Term Evolution (LTE) and LTE-Advanced. With responsibility for the strategic marketing and product portfolio development for LTE/LTE-Advanced, Andreas follows the standardization process in 3GPP very closely, particularly on core specifications as well as protocol conformance, RRM and RF conformance specifications for device and base stations testing. He graduated from Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany, and holds a masters degree in communication engineering.

John Smee

Dr. John E. Smee is Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm Technologies Inc., where he is the R&D lead responsible for overseeing all 5G/6G research projects in Qualcomm’s wireless research and development group.  He joined Qualcomm in 2000, holds over 150 U.S. Patents, and has been involved in the design, innovation, standardization, and productization of wireless communications systems such as 5G NR, 4G LTE, 3G CDMA, and IEEE 802.11.  John received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Princeton University.

Jorge Tello

Jorge Tello is core network specialist in Entel Perú, his work involves Core Network design, planning and optimization, as well as the making of technical specifications and procedures that describe the network. He is currently leading the 5G Core specifications, defining the 5G solution architecture and Core network evolution for Entel Peru. Jorge holds a Bachelor's Degree from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and has more than eight years of experience in Core Network.
